We understand that dog owners may want to breed their bitch, but do not have the time, or experience to give the litter the best possible start that we all want for our puppies. Xtra Sweet Frenchies is offering whelping services. These litters will receive the same care and love that all Xtra Sweet Frenchies puppies receive. Our whelping/nursery area provides a safe and quiet area for the new mom and puppies and unlike kennels, we provide the comforts of being home. Mothers are never locked with their puppies but are able to roam around our room as they please (sometimes moms need breaks too). Puppies are never left unattended. Our focus is on providing a safe and healthy home environment to the puppies before they go to their new forever homes. Our main goal is to provide a home-away-home atmosphere to your fur baby while they stay at Xtra Sweet Frenchies.

Whelping service includes:

  • Most French Bulldogs need a C section. The owner has a choice to drop off bitch and puppies after her surgery or for an additional cost we can take her to the vet for her C section. The Owner is responsible to pay any Vet fees. If you would like for us to whelp a different breed which usually whelps naturally, we will take bitch 5 days before the due date.

  • Administration of any drugs or supplements during the bitch’s stay, which is to be provided by the owner/owner’s veterinarian.

  • Whelping the pups. If complications arise and trips to the vet are necessary, the bitch’s owner pays for the vet services. Any drugs used in the whelping process are to be provided by or paid for by the owner. This includes but is not limited to emergency C-sections. The owner will be notified before any action is taken

  • Administration of de-worming medicines. Some of these medicines we use to keep the pups free from parasites throughout the time they are at Xtra Sweet Frenchies.

  • We ask that you provide a month supply of food for your dog.

5+ puppies (4 week package $3000)
